The MC74VHCT573A is an advanced high-speed CMOS octal latch with 3-state outputs fabricated in a silicon-gate CMOS process. It achieves high operating speeds similar to equivalent bipolar Schottky TTLs while maintaining CMOS low power consumption. This 8-bit D-type latch is controlled by the Latch Enable and Output Enable inputs. When the output enable input is high, the eight outputs are in a high impedance state. The VHCT input is compatible with TTL levels. This device can be used as a level shifter for interfacing 3.3V and 5.0V as it has a full 5V CMOS level output swing. The VHCT573A input and output (when disabled) structures provide protection when voltages from 0 - 5.5V are applied regardless of the supply voltage. These input and output structures help prevent device damage due to supply voltage - input/output voltage mismatch, battery backup, hot insertion, etc.

The NLAST4051 is an improved version of the MC14051 and MC74HC4051 fabricated on a sub-micron silicon-gate CMOS process to reduce RDS(on) resistance and improve linearity at low currents. The device can operate from single or dual supplies up to +/- 3 V to pass 6 VPP signals without coupling capacitors. When operating in single-supply mode, only pin 7 of VEE needs to be connected to ground. For dual-supply operation, VEE is connected to a negative voltage and must not exceed the maximum rating. Transition functions are provided in the device, address and inhibit are compatible with standard TTL levels. See NLAS4051 for CMOS compatibility. Pin compatible with all industry standard versions of "4051".
