The LCX138 is a high-speed 1:8 decoder/demultiplexer. This device is ideal for high speed memory chip select address decoding. Parallel expansion to 1:24 decoder is possible with multiple input enable using only three LCX138 devices, or to 1:32 decoder using four LCX138 devices and an inverter. The 74LCX138 is manufactured using advanced CMOS technology to achieve high speed operation while maintaining low CMOS power consumption.
