The MC10EL/100EL32 is an integrated ÷2 divider. Differential clock inputs and VBB allow differential, single-ended, or AC-coupled interfacing to the device. If the VBB output is used, it should be bypassed to ground with a 0.01 F capacitor. Note also that VBB is only suitable for use as input bias on the EL32, the VBB output has limited current sourcing and sinking capabilities. The reset pin is asynchronous and asserted on the rising edge. On power up, the internal flip-flop will reach a random state; reset to synchronize multiple EL32s in the system. The 100 series includes temperature compensation.
