The MC74VHC1G32 is an advanced high-speed CMOS 2-input OR gate fabricated in a silicon-gate CMOS process. This internal circuit consists of multiple stages including a buffer output to provide high noise immunity and stable output. The MC74VHC1G32 input structure provides protection when voltages up to 5.5 V are applied regardless of the supply voltage. So MC74VHC1G32 is used to interface 5 V circuit to 3 V circuit.

The NC7SZ373 is a single rising edge triggered D-type CMOS latch with 3-state output from ON Semiconductor's TinyLogic UltraSpeed family in a space-saving SC70 6-pin encapsulation. The device is fabricated using advanced CMOS technology to achieve ultra-high speed and high output drive while maintaining low static power consumption over a very wide VCC operating range. The device is specified for operation from 1.65 to 5.5V. When VCC is 0V, the input and output are high impedance. The input is tolerant to 7V regardless of VCC operating voltage. When the latch enable (LE) is high, the latch is transparent to data. When LE is low, data that meets the setup time is latched. In 3-state condition, the output withstand voltage is higher than VCC.
