The FSL206MR integrates a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) controller and SenseFET and is specifically designed for high-performance offline switch-mode power supplies (SMPS) with minimal external parts count. The device integrates a high-voltage power regulator, combining an avalanche-rugged SenseFET with a current-mode PWM control. Integrated PWM Controller Includes: 7.8V Regulator Eliminates Need for Auxiliary Bias Winding; Undervoltage Lockout (UVLO) Protection; Leading Edge Breakout (LEB); Optimized Gate On/Off Driver; EMI Attenuation high temperature shutdown (TSD) protection; temperature compensated precision current source for loop compensation; soft start during startup; overload protection (OLP), over voltage protection (OVP), abnormal over current protection (AOCP) and line undershoot Voltage protection (LUVP). An internal high voltage startup switch and Burst Mode operation with very low operating current reduce power loss in standby mode. Therefore, at an input voltage of 265VAC, a power loss of 150mW can be achieved without a bias winding, 25mW (FSL206MR) or 30mW (FSL206MRBN) with a bias winding and no load.
