The FSL136MR integrates a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) controller and SenseFET and is specifically designed for high-performance offline switch-mode power supplies (SMPS) with minimal external parts count. The FSL136MR includes an integrated high-voltage power switching regulator combining an avalanche-rugged SenseFET with current-mode PWM control. The integrated PWM controller features include: undervoltage lockout (UVLO) protection, leading edge spacing (LEB), frequency generator for EMI attenuation, optimized gate on/off driver, high temperature shutdown (TSD) protection, Used for loop compensation, temperature compensated precision current source, and fault protection circuits. FSL136MR provides excellent soft-start performance. Compared to discrete MOSFET and PWM controller or RCC switching converter solutions, the FSL136MR can reduce total parts count, design size and weight; while improving energy efficiency, productivity and system reliability. This device provides a basic platform for cost-effective design of flyback converters.
