This 1/3-inch form factor, 1.2 MP imaging device is ideal for meeting the challenging requirements of automotive in-cabin cameras. This new global shutter sensor allows the camera to "freeze" fast-moving scene data, ensuring efficient synchronization with pulsed light sources. The AR0135 sensor incorporates a new innovative global shutter pixel design that reduces dark current by a factor of 10 and shutter efficiency by a factor of 4 compared to the previous generation. These performance improvements allow the sensor to produce clear, noise-free images in low-light and bright scenes, as well as high-temperature environments. This performance enables eye-tracking and gesture detection features required in next-generation automotive interior systems.

ON Semiconductor's AR0220AT is a 1/1.8-inch CMOS digital image sensor with a 1828 H x 948 V effective pixel array. This advanced automotive sensor can capture images in linear or high dynamic mode with rolling shutter readout. The AR0220AT is ideal for low light and challenging high dynamic range scene performance with 4.2 µm BSI pixels and on-sensor 120 dB HDR capture. The sensor incorporates complex camera functions such as intra-pixel binning, windowing, and video and single-frame modes. Sophisticated sensor fault detection and embedded data on the AR0220AT enable camera ASIL B compliance. The device is programmable through a simple two-wire serial interface that supports an MPI output interface.
