ON Semiconductor's AR0140CS is a 1/4 inch CMOS digital image sensor with a 1280Hx800V effective pixel array. With rolling shutter readout, it can capture images in linear or HDR mode. It includes a variety of sophisticated camera features such as intra-pixel binning, windowing, and video and single-frame modes. It works well for both low light and high dynamic range scene performance. It is programmable through a simple two-wire serial interface. The AR0140CS produces very clear and sharp digital images and is capable of capturing both continuous video and single frame images making it suitable for a variety of applications.
