The MC100LVEL13 is a dual, fully differential 1:3 fanout buffer. The MC100EL13 is pin and functionally equivalent to the MC100LVEL13, but the specifications are based on a standard 100E ECL operating voltage supply. The device's low output-to-output skew makes it suitable for distributing two simultaneous signals of different frequencies. These differential inputs feature special circuitry to ensure device stability under open-circuit input conditions. With both differential inputs left open, the D input is pulled low to VEE, the Dbar input is biased around VCC/2, and the Q output goes low.
