The NCP81062 is a high-performance MOSFET gate driver in a small 3 mm x 3 mm encapsulation optimized to drive high-side and low-side power MOSFETs in synchronous buck converters. The zero current detection feature enables an energy efficient solution even under light load conditions. A pre-OVP feature helps protect the load when the high-side FET is shorted. The VCC UVLO ensures that the MOSFET is turned off when the supply voltage is low. A bidirectional enable pin provides a fault signal to the controller when a pre-OVP or UVLO fault is detected.
