The MC74VHC1GU04 is an advanced high-speed CMOS unbuffered inverter fabricated on a silicon-gate CMOS process. The device consists of an unbuffered inverter. Combined with other devices or in the MC74VHCU04 six-way unbuffered inverter, these devices are suitable for use as oscillators, pulse shapers, and many enable applications requiring high input impedance amplifiers. For digital applications, the MC74VHC1G04 or MC74VHC04 is recommended. This internal circuit consists of three stages, including a buffered output that provides high noise immunity and stable output. The MC74VHC1GU04 input structure provides protection for applied voltages up to 7 V regardless of the supply voltage. Therefore, the MC74VHC1GU04 is used to interface 5 V circuits to 3 V circuits.
