The CNY17XM, CNY17FXM, and MOC810XM devices consist of a Gallium Arsenide infrared light-emitting diode coupled to an NPN phototransistor with dual-row plug-inencapsulation.

The FOD8012A is a half-duplex, bidirectional, high-speed logic gate optocoupler that supports isolated communication, enabling digital signals to be communicated between systems without conducting ground loops or hazardous voltages. It utilizes ON Semiconductor's patented coplanar encapsulation technology Optoplanar, and optimized IC design to achieve a minimum common-mode interference rejection (CMR) level of 20 kV/μs. This high speed logic gate optocoupler is highly integrated with 2 optocoupled channels arranged in a bidirectional configuration in a compact 8-pin miniature encapsulation. Each optocoupler channel contains a high-speed AlGaAs LED driven by a CMOS buffer IC coupled to a CMOS detection IC. The detection IC contains an integrated photodiode, a high-speed transimpedance amplifier, and a voltage comparator with output driver. This CMOS technology is coupled with high efficiency LEDs for low power consumption combined with very high speed (60ns propagation delay, 15ns pulse width distortion).
