The FSL4110LR is an integrated pulse width modulation (PWM) controller and 1000 V avalanche rugged SenseFET designed for offline switch mode power supplies (SMPS) with minimal external parts count. VCC can be provided by an integrated high voltage power regulator without auxiliary bias winding. Integrated PWM controller includes fixed frequency oscillator, undervoltage lockout (UVLO), leading edge spacing (LEB), optimized gate drivers, internal soft start, temperature compensated precision current source for loop compensation, and various protection circuit. Compared to discrete MOSFET and PWM controller solutions, the FSL4110LR reduces total cost, parts count, PCB size, and weight; while improving energy efficiency, productivity, and system reliability. This device provides the basic platform for cost-effective design of flyback converters.
