The FSL126MR integrates a Pulse Width Modulator (PWM) and SenseFET, and is specifically designed for high-performance offline Switch Mode Power Supplies (SMPS) with minimal external component count. The FSL126MR includes an integrated high-voltage power switching regulator combining an avalanche-rugged SenseFET with a current-mode PWM control block. Features of the integrated PWM controller include: undervoltage lockout (UVLO) protection, leading edge blanking (LEB), frequency generator for EMI attenuation, optimized gate on/off driver, high temperature shutdown (TSD) protection , a temperature compensated precision current source for loop compensation, and a fault protection circuit. FSL126MR provides good soft-start performance. Compared to discrete MOSFET and controller or RCC switching converter solutions, the FSL126MR can reduce total parts count, design size and weight; while improving energy efficiency, productivity and system reliability. This device provides a basic platform for cost-effective flyback converter designs.
