The FSL156MRIN is an integrated Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) controller and SenseFET designed for off-line Switch Mode Power Supplies (SMPS) with minimal external parts count. The PWM controller includes an integrated fixed frequency oscillator, undervoltage lockout (UVLO), leading edge spacing (LEB), optimized gate drivers, internal soft start, temperature compensated precision current source for loop compensation, and self protect the circuit. Compared to discrete MOSFET and PWM controller solutions, the FSL156MRIN reduces total cost, parts count, size and weight; while improving energy efficiency, productivity and system reliability. This device provides a basic platform for cost-effective design of flyback converters.
